An afternoon group will meet on Thursdays, from this
week, 9th March, at 2.30pm at 50 the Hill, and an evening group, also on
Thursdays from 9th March, starting at 7.30pm at 2 Newing Close. If there is anyone who is interested but has not yet signed the list
please phone Lesley Gallagher (722476) or Katharine Harris (728152) as soon as
Lent boxes in aid of U.S.P.G. are on the table at the back of church in St Vincent’s. Please take one, check the number on the box
and sign the list. The boxes should be returned to church on Easter Sunday or as soon as possible afterwards.

Spring Church Yard Tidy day Saturday April
We would welcome anyone who might be able to spare a couple of hours of
help to turn up from 9am armed with suitable garden tools.

Classic Car Show and St Andrew’s Church Fete Sunday
This new event in which last
year’s Classic Car Show will join forces with the biennial St Andrew’s Fete
will take place on Sunday 21st May 11am- 3.30 pm at the Frank
Montgomery Playing Field, Seaton Road Wickhambreaux.
There will be a splendid
collection of classic cars on display, as well as a variety of stalls with
something of interest for everyone. Children’s activities and a selection of
refreshments will be available, including teas, icecream and a bar.
All proceeds will go to St
Andrew’s Church and the Playing Field.
We will be looking for donations
for the tombola, wheelbarrow of wine, produce, cakes, books and plants stalls,
and we will be arranging collections in the village early in May.
