    Benefice Churches

During August we worship at just one church each Sunday – so that we have the opportunity to worship in the other churches and enjoy fellowship together as Christians within the one group of churches.  Everyone is welcome.  Transport can be arranged – please get in touch with your church warden.  Please note that these services start at 10 am.

    Ride And Stride
Why not dust off your bike or your walking shoes and cycle or walk round the countryside on Saturday 9th September calling in at village  Churches?  You can raise money towards repairs to your church by getting friends to sponsor you.

    St Vincent’s Church Littlebourne

    New ‘Songs of Praise’

Just a short update to let you know what is planned at St Vincent’s over the next few months. We are looking forward to an active Autumn and we hope to see you at one of our services.

We are planning a new form of service for the first Sunday of each month. This will replace the present service of All-Age Family Worship and will start with a Songs of Praise on 3rd September at the usual time of 11.00. Everyone is welcome and we hope the service will be a success with old and new alike – and regardless of age!

Following on from this, the Harvest tea will in the Village Hall on Saturday 30 September in the afternoon and our Harvest Festival Service will be held on the 1st October. This will follow a similar format to the September service, with donations of tinned food welcome to decorate the church which will then be passed on to the Food Bank for distribution. Harvest is always a good time for everyone to come together.

We will then move into the Autumn season with the Memorial Service planned for 3.00pm on the 29th October and the British Legion Act of Remembrance is scheduled to be held at Littlebourne church this year on the 12th November.

We also have a visit scheduled from the Cathedral choristers on the 11th November – more details to follow!
