Classic Car Show and St Andrew’s Church Fete Sunday
This new event in which last
year’s Classic Car Show will join forces with the biennial St Andrew’s Fete
will take place on Sunday 21st May 11am- 3.30 pm at the Frank
Montgomery Playing Field, Seaton Road Wickhambreaux.
There will be a splendid
collection of classic cars on display, as well as a variety of stalls with
something of interest for everyone. Children’s activities and a selection of
refreshments will be available, including teas, icecream and a bar.
All proceeds will go to St
Andrew’s Church and the Playing Field.
We will be looking for donations
for the tombola, wheelbarrow of wine, produce, cakes, books and plants stalls,
and we will be arranging collections in the village early in May.

NOVENA of Prayer 26th
May to 3rd June
Friday 26th May to to Saturday 3rd June i.e. between Ascension Day and Pentecost, we shall be taking part in nine days of
prayer. A small group will meet in St
Vincents each day at 5pm to reflect on specially chosen artwork and to pray
together for the coming of the Spirit within our churches and communities. Our
time together lasts around 20 minutes – and everyone is welcome to come along
and join in
